Men are from Mars – Women are from Venus Live, adapted from John Gray’s iconic book, builds on the success of the number 1 best-selling relationship book in history. The Mars Venus series has sold over 50 million copies across the globe and has been translated into 50 languages. Starring in this season’s performance is actor/comedian Matt Iseman. After receiving his M.D. from Princeton University, Matt decided to take a drastic career move to pursue stand up comedy. Iseman made his film debut in 2009 with Transformers 2, and has had many television appearances including The Drew Carey Show, NCIS, Courting Alex, and a recurring role on General Hospital. Currently Matt is the host of American Ninja Warrior on G4 network.
Lord of the Dance – March 6, 2013 at 7:30pm
Described by the New York Post as “fascinating, rewarding, and above all, entertaining,” and by the Los Angeles Times as “a showpiece extravaganza,” Lord of the Dance is a mesmerizing blend of traditional and modern Celtic music and dance. The story is based upon mythical Irish folklore as Don Dorcha, Lord of Darkness, challenges the ethereal lord of the light, the Lord of the Dance. Battle lines are drawn, passions ignite and a love story fueled by the dramatic leaps and turns of dancers’ bodies begins to build against a backdrop of Celtic rhythm. The action is played out over 21 scenes on a grand scale of precision dancing, dramatic music, colorful costumes and state-of-the-art staging and lighting.
